Overview

atronous.ai is an enterprise AI platform that transforms raw product data into structured, marketplace-ready listings for global retail companies. As the UX Design Intern, I was responsible for designing the end-to-end user experience for the customer portal, from data ingestion to AI-driven enrichment and insights.

  • Creating Mockups (Lo-fi to Hi-fi)

    • Designing end-to-end UI for an LLM-powered (Gemini/GPT) platform

    • Designing custom interfaces for business clientele

Research and Understanding

  • Conducted competitive analyses to compare enterprise e-commerce AI tools and identify best practices for transparency and user control.

Key UX Challenges

Designing for transparency in AI-powered processes

One of my goals was to make the AI’s actions understandable and trustworthy. Since atronous automatically enriches and validates thousands of product records, users needed to know how results were generated.

 

I designed visual indicators, confidence scores, and a Chain of Thought display that showed AI reasoning in a simple, human-readable way. This helps users build trust without overwhelming them with technical detail.

Handling large-scale data table interactions

Managing thousands of SKUs and attributes meant designing for both scale and clarity. I created table layouts that supported smooth navigation, smart filtering, and contextual tooltips to reduce cognitive load.

 

By prioritizing progressive disclosure and adaptive layouts, I turned dense data tables into scannable, efficient interfaces.

Balancing Simplicity with Configurable Controls

Users needed flexibility to define data processing rules and project configurations without feeling lost in options. I focused on guided defaults, logical grouping, and clear visual hierarchies to balance usability and control.

This approach allowed both advanced and first-time users to customize their workflows confidently while maintaining an intuitive experience.
